Hey there, I'm Jordan!

I'm the girl behind Thistle and Grove Art +Photography. I am a 28 year old creative as well as a wife and boy mama. I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in eastern Missouri. I have been fascinated by photography since I got my first camera when I was 12. I was a teacher for five years previously, and left teaching this past year to chase this dream of creating art. My style is earthy and golden, with a bit of warmth, creamy whites and rich blacks.

Being a mom to Brooks and wife to Griffin is my top favorite thing. My favorite 24/7 job that is exhausting, yet so rewarding.

If I don't have a camera in my hand, you can find me mixing palettes of pretty watercolors or using a micron pen and white charcoal on some brown paper. I want to create so many things, that my weakness is starting way too many projects for my creative, impulsive brain to handle.


traveling and being a foodie

In our down time, we love exploring old towns such as Charleston and New Orleans. We love a good hike in the Smoky Mountains and whitewater rafting. Find us enjoying a drink in an old English style pub or enjoying a slice of pizza the size of our heads. Food might be my love language.
